Diplomatic missions of Poland in Ukraine will not issue visa to Ukrainian citizens who live permanently outside of Ukraine. Please contact the appropriate mission in your country of residence.
Excluded from the necessity to book appointments through the call centre / website are:
|Travelers in emergency cases (e.g. funeral, urgent medical treatment)|
|Diplomats travelling to Poland on official visit|
They are required to go directly to the Consulate General to submit their application by scheduling an appointment on www.e-konsulat.gov.pl
Visa Application Centre accepts applications for short stay visas and long stay visas. Passport should be valid for at least three months after visa expiry date and there should be at least two blank pages available in the passport for visa. It is recommended to obtain a new passport before submission of your application, if mentioned requirements are not met.
Applicants applying for Schengen visa are requested to apply in person at the Visa Centre. Minor children below 12 are exempted from the personal appearance at the VAC.
Applicants applying for National Visa are requested to apply in person at the Visa Centre. Only parents for minors can apply on behalf of the applicant by showing originals of the documents proving family tie.
The processing time for the visa application is 6 working days (not including day of submission) from the date of receipt of documents by Consulate.
In individual cases, notably when further scrutiny of the application is required, the time for taking a decision on a visa application may be extended up to 30 calendar days.
We advise applicants to apply for the visa approximately 4 weeks before their date of travel.

Poland and the decision must be made by the applicant themselves – Visa
Application Centre staff will not be able to assist you in taking this
Diplomatic missions of Poland in Ukraine will return processed passports to the respective Visa Application Centers. Applicants have the choice to decide how they would like to collect their passports and / or documents, i.e. by subscribing for a Courier Services at the time of application submission or by collecting it from the Visa Application Centre.
Please carefully check your personal information and photos while collecting you passport. The information contained on the visa sticker should be correct.
Please note that obtaining a visa does not guarantee entrance of the territory of Republic of Poland. Final decision on the entry is taken by the Border Guards.
